Challenge to use sand and not crushed gravel was mastered through modifications to Bottom Feed Stone Column equipment. Target to install Sand Columns in 2.50 m square grid with column diameter of 80 cm in the loose sand but up to 1.60 m in remaining lenses of the replaced peat.
